Art. 1 - PARTICIPATION

The ALPE ADRIA TOUR (AAT) 2020 Circuit is a circuit of Mediofondo and Granfondo and a time trial reserved for all amateur cyclists regularly registered for the year 2020 with UCI, FCI, ACSI Cycling and EPS recognized by CONI. Participation in the AAT Circuit is provided with the following membership formulas: - AAT ALL INCLUSIVE cumulative registration for all 7 tests (30% discount); - AAT FVG cumulative registration to the 4 tests of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region (reserved for athletes registered with an Amateur Sports Association of Friuli Venezia Giulia, discount 30%); - ONLY AAT registration to the Circuit with registration and payment to the individual tests All members will enter the final classification and prize-giving. ALL THE REGISTRATIONS ARE INDIVIDUAL, THEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE OR CAN BE ASSIGNED TO OTHER ATHLETES.

Art. 2 - RACES AND DATES

  • In 2020 the AAT circuit consists of 7 tests:
  • 1. 17 May - Corsa per Haiti in the Torre and Natisone Valleys - Cividale del Friuli (UD) *
  • 2. 07 June - Kärtnen Rad-Marathon - Bad Kleinkirchheim (A)
  • 3. 14 June - Maraton Franja BTC City - Ljubljana (SLO)
  • 4. 12 July - The Legendary Charly Gaul - Trento (TN)
  • 5. 26 July - Carnia Classic - Fuji - Zoncolan - Tolmezzo (UD) *
  • 6. 30 August - Gran Fondo dei Templari - Pordenone (PN) *
  • 7. 13th September - 20th Gran Fondo d’Europa - Chronocarsic Camp Reg Crono - Trieste (TS) *

* Valid tests to access the ALPE ADRIA FVG ranking.

All the races of the circuit include two courses, one of Granfondo and one of Mediofondo, ad except for the 20th Gran Fondo d’Europa - Cronocarsica which includes the final time trial and that is valid for both circuits (Granfondo and Mediofondo).

Art. 3 - FORMULA

The athlete can choose to participate in both the Granfondo and Mediofondo circuits offered by the various organizations, taking into account that access to the final ranking is mandatory having concluded:

  • 5 FIVE tests for the AAT ALL INCLUSIVE circuit (same type as MF or GF)
  • 3 THREE trials for the AAT FVG Circuit (same type as MF or GF)

G 55-59 1961-1965 H over60 (born from 1960 to 1945)

Women

W1 19-39 1991-2001 | W2 40-65 1945-1980

Men and women cycling amateurs over the age of 64 are permitted to participate ONLY in the circuits of MEDIOFONDO.

Art. 5 - REGISTRATION

Registrations are open from December 14th 2019 to April 30th 2020. The athlete must not specify the chosen type of circuit (GF or MF) by deciding to participate at a GF or MF circuit during the racing season.

The Organizing Committee may, at any time and at its sole discretion, accept or less registrations, exclude a member from the event, disqualify athletes with unsportsmanlike conduct.

Art. 6 - FEES

AAT All Inclusive (7 races) € 220 by 31/3/2020 | € 240 from 1/4 to 30/4/2020 registration with payment of registration fees for all 7 scheduled competitions

AAT FVG (4 races) € 130 by 31/3/2020 | € 150 from 1/4 to 30/4/2020 registration with payment of registration fees for the 4 races in the FVG region

Only AAT € 30 by 31/3/2020 | € 50 from 1/4 to 30/4/2020 accession only to the circuit, payment of registrations will be made to the individual races

Art. 7 - REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Art. 8 - STARTING GRID AND RACE NUMBERS

Members of the AAT Circuit will be placed in a GRID reserved for them, which can be concomitant also with other Circuits, to which the individual events belong. AAT participants they will use a dorsal number assigned according to the regulations of each event. For the drawing up of the classification will take into account the name, surname, date of birth and belonging club.

Art. 9 - SCORING

AAT ALL All athletes registered for the Alpe Adria Tour will be taken from the absolute rankings of the various tests and assigned them the score starting from 1 point to the first classified, 2 points per second, etc. for all the classified. BONUS AAT ALL: is provided for athletes who will complete 7 trials (- 10 points) of the same type, Granfondo or Mediofondo. Bonus points apply to both circuits. AAT FVG All athletes registered at the Alpe Adria Circuit Tour belonging to a cycling company of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region will be extrapolated from the AAT ALL rankings with the same scores. BONUSES are not provided. The competitors participating in tests of the AAT Circuit with chronometric chips not in their name, will be disqualified and will not be able to participate in subsequent tests even if they are up to date with payments registration fees that will not be reimbursed.

Art.10 - CLASSIFICATION

All members will be classified (AAT ALL INCLUSIVE-FVG AAT-ONLY AAT), with the following criteria: • ALPE ADRIA TOUR ALL: The final classification of each circuit (Granfondo and Mediofondo) will be determined by the sum of the points that the athlete will have gained in the various tests. It will be taken into account of the FIVE best results (waste of TWO trials with worst score or different by type: granfondo / mediofondo) and the allocation of BONUSES (see SCORES). The criterion adopted goes to reward those who achieve the lowest score. • ALPE ADRIA TOUR FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA (RESERVED FOR ONLY TIRED MEMBERS PER COMPANY OF THE FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA REGION): The final classification of the Regional circuit (Granfondo and Mediofondo) will be determined by the sum of the points that the athlete will have gained in the FOUR regional tests taking into account the THREE best results (waste of ONE trial with worst score or different by type: granfondo / mediofondo). There will be no BONUS assignment. The criterion adopted goes to reward those who achieve the lowest score. The provisional rankings will be published on the website of the Circuit, HYPERLINK “http://www.alpeadriatour. it/”www.alpeadriatour.it, within 5 days of each individual trial. Art. 11 - AWARDS

The final awards ceremony will take place within the month of November at a venue of the organizing companies and it will be communicated via the website www.alpeadriatour.it of the circuit.

AAT ALL INDIVIDUALS: 3 per category ASD: 3 (total number of all tests)

AAT FVG INDIVIDUALS: 3 per category The winners will be awarded prizes and / or products in kind.

For the ASD classification of the Circuit they will make unique rankings based on the number of athletes they lead to term the greatest number of tests.

The final prizes consist of free registration fees, distributed as follows:

    • 1st ASD classified: 5 free registrations to the AAT ALL INCLUSIVE circuit (commercial value of about € 900.00)
    • 2nd ASD classified: 3 free registrations to the AAT ALL INCLUSIVE circuit (commercial value of around € 600.00)
    • 3rd ASD classified: 2 free registrations to the AAT ALL INCLUSIVE circuit (commercial value of around € 400.00) *

At the final award ceremony all the participants will be awarded the ALPE ADRIA TOUR 2020 GADGET. Other possible prizes will be communicated by the organizing committee during the year. * The commercial value is to be considered indicative, as it will be recalculated based on the registration fee for the year 2021.
